Sustainability Internship

About the position

NewPort is committed to reducing our environmental impact and we would love to explore your ideas on how to build a more sustainable future. As part of our sustainable journey, various possibilities and projects are ready to be taken on by a student with a green spirit.   You will work closely with our Continuous Improvement Team and management team to support and contribute to projects aimed at reducing our environmental footprint, promoting our social responsibility, and driving sustainable growth.

Tasks and responsibilities

  • Conduct research on best practices and emerging trends in sustainability.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement sustainability strategies and initiatives.

  • Analyze data and prepare reports to track key sustainability metrics and performance indicators.

  • Support the planning and execution of sustainability events, campaigns, and outreach efforts.

  • Contribute creative ideas and solutions to promote environmental sustainability and corporate responsibility.

What are we looking for?

  • Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s program.

  • Passionate about sustainability and environmental conservation.

  • Fluent in English.

  • You like to take ownership of the projects you work on.

  • Detail-oriented and good communication skills.

Our office is located in Moerdijk – which is not easily accessible by public transport. It is important that you have your own means of transport.
