For our Duisburg office, we are looking for a new Customer Service Representative (Disponent m/f) as an addition to our team!
Are you freshly graduated, or do you have a few years experience already? Are you enthusiastic with an interest in logistics, and are you able to arrange customer request in a detailed way? Then we might have a match!

About the position

As a Customer Service Representative, you are the first point of contact for our customers. You control the process from A to Z, work accurately, and have strong communication skills. 

You will be the face of NewPort for our customers regarding their orders, and you make sure to answer all their questions. This means that you make the entire process run smoothly! Furthermore, you can switch between tasks quickly, and you are driven by the dynamic work environment.

About NewPort

NewPort Tank Containers specializes in the transport of chemical liquids, foodstuffs and gas in tank containers. Our activities have an international character. We are represented worldwide with our own offices and a large network of agents.

Tasks and responsibilities

  • You work in a structured way, so you can keep a good overview of all orders from your customers. 

  • You ensure that all information is processed on time and that all parties have the correct information in time. 

  • You ensure that your other colleagues from Operations Control have the correct information to make and check all necessary invoices. 

  • You keep your customers informed at all times. 

  • You monitor the operational processes using KPI’s.

What are we looking for?

  • You have at least hauptschule/Sekundarabschluss working and thinking level, but we feel like a good and positive attitude is the most important! Either a Studium mit Schwerpunkt Betriebswirtschaft / Logistik Ausbildung are also a plus.

  • You have affinity with logistics.

  • We are looking for someone who is available 40 hours a week, but 32 to 36 hours is also negotiable.

  • You learn quickly, and you have knowledge of administrative procedures.

  • (MUST) You have at least C2 or native knowledge of the German language.

  • (MUST) You have fluent knowledge of the English language.

  • (MUST) You live within 1h of commuting distance to the Duisburg office.
