Customer Service Representative

The Customer Service Representative is responsible for entering and processing the assigned transport orders efficiently according to procedures and to ensure that all documentation is up to date.  You will also be managing customers at an operational level and dealing with questions and/or problems regarding operational activities. A suitable training will allow you to give your best on your new position.

• You will be the operational contact for customers and suppliers: resolving operational questions and problems.

• Enter orders and arrange transport as required.

• Prepare documentation relating to the shipments and provide information to internal and/or external parties.

• Ensure that supplier non-conformities are documented and resolved on time.

• Inform customers and/or other relevant authorities about deviations of shipments and loading instructions of a transport.

• Check files financially on correctness, completeness and timeliness.

• Build a network with existing customers.

• Enter new customer details in our system and create customer files.

• +2 year work experience in a similar position in logistics / tank container business.

• Fluency in the English language.

• Knowledge of INCO terms, IMDG and ADR.

Newport Tank Containers est une société du groupe Shanghai Gentco Logistics spécialisé dans le transport international de vrac liquide chimique et alimentaire en conteneur citerne. Société en plein développement sur un marché porteur, Newport Tank Containers est le 2ème opérateur mondial de citernes avec plus de 500 collaborateurs à travers le monde.

Vous prenez en charge l’organisation des transports de citernes à l’international, à l’import et à l’export. Vos missions à ce poste seront les suivantes :

• Réception des commandes, planification et suivi des opérations internationales.

• Coordination avec les clients et avec les différents intervenants du transport : transport routier, ferroviaire, barge, compagnies maritimes, dépôt et station de lavage.

• Etablissement de la documentation de transport : BL, transmission des dossiers douane.

• Contrôle des coûts et facturation des dossiers.

• Gestion des imprévus et des litiges en temps réel.

• Bac + 2 minimum - Formation transport

• 2 ans d’expérience dans une fonction similaire

• Rigueur, organisation, adaptabilité et très bon relationnel

• Bon anglais oral et écrit exigé
